Saemaeul Restaurant: The Premier Korean BBQ Experience in Carrollton, TX

Finally made it to Paik Jong-won’s legendary BBQ spot! It totally lived up to the hype. We ordered the classic #PorkSet, and added #BeefTongue and their premium #Beef to the mix. Can we talk about the marbling on that beef for a second? It was absolutely stunning—you can tell just by looking at it that it's going to melt in your mouth! The beef tongue was also a highlight: perfectly crunchy and juicy. The best part? Full table-side service! The staff handles all the grilling for you, so you don't have to worry about overcooking the meat. You can just sit back, relax, and focus on eating. This is how BBQ should always be! Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Korean BBQ without the hard work.

I had a great experience at SAEMAEUL KOREAN BBQ BY PAIK JONG WON The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the staff was attentive and helpful with menu recommendations. The meat was the highlight—perfectly seasoned, tender, and deliciously caramelized on the grill. The banchan were fresh and flavorful, and the kimchi stew was rich and comforting. Everything paired beautifully together. Overall, it was a fun, authentic Korean BBQ experience with great food and service. I’ll definitely be back!

The place and the food itself is a 11/10, amazing spot to eat with friends and family. I found about this place from my sister and her fiancé, our cook/server Dylan was super friendly and great! Definitely highly recommended, the picture is the aftermath of our meal, again it was incredibly delicious.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Korean BBQ experience. The staff cooked the meat perfectly to our liking and were always checking in—there was never a shortage of help. Excellent atmosphere with a unique setup that really adds to the experience. Highly recommend and would definitely come back.

I debated between 4 and 5 stars, but ultimately decided on 5. First off, the staff is amazing. The level of attentiveness and care they have for the customer, it is seemingly unmatched. I've been to fancy Michelin rated restaurants that didn't even have that level of service. The meat itself was also a class above other kbbq spots. The quality was just incredibly flavorful and tender. The meats were also perfectly seasoned and no other sauces were really needed to enjoy it. The only thing that stops me from going more frequently would be the price. Of course, quality comes at a price, but since you order the meats individually, it can easily cost $50-60 a person. I will definitely come back. But will likely save it for special occasions.

Everything was so good . Korean hot pot and bbq is my favorite food and I have been to MANY Korean bbq places but this one is the best I've ever had . No it's not all you can eat but the meat has so much more quality, the stews and the sides was so fresh . I'm going back .

We came here with the family on Thanksgiving. We were coming in from Houston for the holiday weekend and in search of a good dinner option. We were grateful this place was open. The tables are small, barely fitting 6, but it was fun. They have built in vents at each table to suck up all the smoke, but still be prepared to walk away smelling like Korean bbq. My family actually prefers à la carte Korean bbq over all you can eat, because our experience is the quality of meat is higher at à la carte. We end up spending the same amount of money but we enjoy it better. This location did not disappoint. Every cut of meat we got was delicious. They work as a team here and they cook for you at the table. They also walk around refilling sides and water as well. Their Kim Chi was delicious it gave a little kick as well.

Great service. Meats were tender and flavorful, sides were good, did I say the meats were perfect? It isn't AYCE, but this is quality. Pork jowl was delicious. The brisket, short ribs, kimchi soup, were just as good. I look forward to coming here again
